Education Above All

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, spoke today at the opening session of the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family Conference on Family and Contemporary Megatrends, organized by Qatar Foundation’s Doha International Family Institute.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All Foundation, met today with the First Lady of the Republic of Iraq, Her Excellency Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

During the meeting, they discussed avenues of collaboration relating to research into issues affecting families and Education Above All’s work to reduce the number of out-of-school-children in Iraq.

تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المتبادل لاسيما أوجه التعاون البحثي حول قضايا الأسرة وجهود مؤسسة التعليم فوق الجميع للحد من عدد الأطفال غير الملتحقين بالمدارس في العراق.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All Foundation, met today with Her Excellency Dr. Lydia Abela, wife of the Prime Minister of Malta, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre. They discussed the challenges facing modern families and avenues of collaboration to protect education during times of wars and conflict.

تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المتبادل والمتعلقة بقضايا الأسرة وسبل حماية التعليم أثناء الحروب والأزمات.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All Foundation, met today with Her Excellency Mrs. Arya Ali, First Lady of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

During the meeting, the two discussed avenues for collaboration in research and policies on the family, and youth empowerment through education and job opportunities.

تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة التعاون في مجالات البحوث والسياسات الأسرية بالاضافة الى تمكين الشباب من خلال التعليم والعمل.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All Foundation, met today with Her Excellency Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, President of Kosovo, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

During the meeting, the two discussed important topics relating to the family, protecting education during times of war and crisis, and economic youth empowerment.

تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المتبادل والمتعلقة بقضايا الأسرة وحماية التعليم في أوقات الحروب و الأزمات والتمكين الإقتصادي للشباب.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education Above All Foundation, met today with Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Her Excellency Ms Amina Mohammed, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the Year of the Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention Centre.

They discussed paths of cooperation, in particular regarding promoting policies and research on Arab families and the importance of supporting education, which is an essential component for rebuilding societies after times of war and crisis.
