HH Sheikha Moza meets H.E. Mr. Peter Thomson

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser today met with H.E. Mr. Peter Thomson, President of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly. They discussed the importance of providing quality education for refugees, as well as implementing legislation aimed at preventing attacks on schools in conflict-affected areas. Her Highness was appointed as an Advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals in 2016 by UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon.
