HH Sheikha Moza Visits Vermeg Company, Meets Minister Of Communication Technologies And Digital Economy

Tunisia,　March 15, 2017　– Her Highnesss Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals, concluded her trip to Tunisia by visiting Vermeg company. Her Highness was welcomed by Dr Anouar Maarouf, Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy, Mr. Badreddine Ouali, President of the Smart Tunisia programme and Chairman of Vermeg, and Mr. Elyes Jeribi, Executive Director of the Smart Tunisia Program.

Her Highness met with young people and recent graduates who are benefitting from the Smart Tunisia Programme and the Tunis Ta3mal portal. Silatech has supported Smart Tunisia since its inception, in an effort to attract foreign investments to the ICT sector and create jobs for Tunisian youth.

Her Highness left the country after the visit. Her Excellency Ms. Soad Alloomi, the minister of tourism, and Her Excellency Ms. Majdouline Cherni, the minister of youth and sports were present to thank and bid farewell to her highness.
