HH Sheikha Moza receives FIFA Inspection Team

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Board Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) received this evening at the Education City the FIFA Inspection Team, led by the President of Chilean Football Federation Harold Mayne Nicholls, within the framework of their current visit to Doha.

The meeting reviewed the key plans and objectives of the Qatar Foundation (QF) and its future vision to serve the community in all fields, particularly its efforts in support of sports and its role to support the activities of the World Cup in Qatar 2022, through infrastructure, research and medical centres as well as sports facilities including a sports stadium which will be built during the next few years, as one of the proposed venues to host the World Cup, to be ready by 2015.

The meeting was attended by Director of Her Highness's Office, HE Dr. Abdullah bin Hussein al Kubaisi, and HE Chairman of the Qatar 2022 Bid Committee Sheikh Mohammad bin Hamad al Thani, as well as a number of QF Administrative staff.

The FIFA Inspection Team arrived in Doha yesterday on a visit that lasts till Friday, to examine Qatar's World Cup 2022 proposals.​
