HH Sheikha Moza meets with UN Refugee Chief

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Education Above All and Qatar Foundation, met with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, this morning, where they discussed the progress of the new, ongoing project between Education Above All and UNHCR to educate more than 364,000 displaced children in 14 countries. With this new agreement, EAA and UNHCR would have enrolled a total of more than 1.5 million out of school displaced children worldwide.

Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, was also in attendance during the meeting to highlight Qatar Foundation’s efforts in supporting Afghan evacuees.
