HH Sheikha Moza meets with President of Ghana at WISE 2017

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, had a meeting today with His Excellency Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana and Co-Chair of SDG Advocates, at the WISE Summit in the Qatar National Convention Center.

They were joined by the 2017 WISE Prize for Education Laureate, Dr. Patrick Awuah, founder and president of Ashesi University in Ghana. In the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation in education, in addition to existing and potential collaborative projects with Education Above All and Qatar Foundation.

After the meeting, the president accompanied Her Highness in a tour of the WISE Majlis, a central exhibition space that gathers learners and educators in various innovative activities that embody the WISE theme of co-existence and co-creation.
