HH Sheikha Moza meets Italian Prime Minister

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), today welcomed Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni at the Qatar National Library in Education City, as part of the Prime Minister’s official state visit to Qatar.

Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of QF, joined them in the meeting as they discussed areas of cooperation in the fields of education and research.

After the meeting, Mr. Gentiloni and the Italian delegation took a tour of the new QNL building, designed by renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, and viewed the library’s extensive collection of rare texts and manuscripts related to Arabic and Islamic civilization.
