HH Sheikha Moza and Prince of Wales to work together on building Year of Culture legacy

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales met to discuss practical ways to build lasting legacies from the Qatar UK 2013 Year of Culture.

Her Highness welcomed the Prince to Qatar Foundation (QF) and briefed him on the partnership between QF and a number of UK universities, research institutes and technology companies.

Her Highness praised the Prince’s longstanding endeavours to promote interfaith dialogue and his charities that seek to improve community development, including Mosaic, which mentors underprivileged children.

Her Highness and the Prince of Wales agreed to work together on a common programme to enhance intercultural dialogue and community development, by facilitating respectful and open exchanges of views and experience-sharing between groups from different cultural and religious backgrounds in order to improve understanding.

The two agreed to meet again to discuss next steps and common projects in ensuring the legacy of the Qatar UK 2013 Year of Culture.
