HH Sheikha Moza meets Brazilian President

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development met with the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff and her accompanying delegation.

Her Highness welcomed the visit of Dilma Rousseff and praised her role in passing legislation for the development of education in Brazil. Conversely, Rousseff praised Her Highness’s global efforts to raise the standard of education as a right for all.

The two parties discussed the prospects of cooperation and partnership in various fields, such as archiving regarding how the Qatar National Library can benefit from Arabic documents in the Brazilian archives. Furthermore, they discussed how to bolster cooperation between Qatar Foundation and concerned authorities in Brazil in the field of education.
