Her Highness attends Qatar Foundation schools commencement ceremony
HH Chairperson of Qatar Foundation Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended the Qatar Foundation Schools Graduation Ceremony 2026, which honored the achievements of around 401 graduates from seven schools within the Qatar Foundation education system. The ceremony was held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, and was attended by HE Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, alongside senior officials, educators, school leaders, and families of the graduating students. In remarks during the ceremony, President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation Abir Al Khalifa said the graduating class demonstrated that education goes beyond academic achievement, emphasizing resilience, creativity, and determination, particularly in times of uncertainty. She noted that recent geopolitical challenges had tested students, but also revealed their ability to adapt, innovate, and respond positively, highlighting the strength and potential of their graduation projects in addressing real-world issues. Al Khalifa also stressed that, as Qatar Foundation continues to develop its education strategy, graduates are seen as key partners in shaping the future. She expressed pride in their accomplishments and confidence in their ability to make meaningful contributions in the years ahead. Graduation speaker Maryam Ali Al Khalaf said that true success is not only measured by personal achievements, but by the positive impact individuals have on their communities. She reflected on her educational journey at Qatar Foundation Schools, describing it as a transformative experience that helped shape her personality, academic path, and professional aspirations, while giving her confidence to pursue diverse opportunities. She also praised Qatar Foundation and Education City for providing a leading educational model that places people at the center of the learning process, urging graduates to pursue their passions, embrace challenges, and use difficulties as opportunities for growth and development. The ceremony included the graduation of students from Qatar Academy Doha, Qatar Academy Al Khor, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy for Science and Technology, Qatar Leadership Academy, Qatar Academy Wakra, and Awsaj Academy, recognizing their academic excellence and achievements. Over the years, more than 15,000 students have graduated from Qatar Foundation schools and its academic bridge and PRIME programs, reflecting the institution's continued commitment to advancing education, innovation, and human development in Qatar.
