Ladies and gentlemen —

I thank all the speakers, delegates and members of the Board of Trustees who participated in the Silatech Summit.  I also thank our partners, especially Sir David Bell, Chairman, and Mr. Lionel Barber, Editor-in-Chief of the Financial Times, for contributing to the success of this summit: confirming that the union of determined intellectual leaders can make a difference.

Since Silatech is an initiative for our youth, I wish to ask your permission to address this message specifically to young people. 

Silatech has relied on young people’s contributions in making this event happen, and I believe that our expectations were met successfully. 

Silatech must maintain a youthful spirit, youthful orientation and youthful innovation and creativity. With you, young people, and your future achievements, Silatech can restore hope and confidence to our societies now and in the future.

Dear young people —

Silatech is now your organization and your responsibility. Its birth is your idea and the result of your creativity. Your renewed energy, determination and persistence will guarantee the vitality required to overcome difficulties. 

You, young people, must seize opportunities. Do not be afraid to take the plunge. Think out of the box.
